In the morning you will be picked up by one of our representatives and transferred to the Lima airport for your local flight to Cusco.

View the best of Cusco on a private tour in the afternoon after your flight to Cusco. When you get there you will check in at your hotel. You will visit the Koricancha Temple, or Temple of the Sun – a beautiful cathedral with baroque altars and various paintings dating back to the colonial time and the famous Cusquena school of arts.

Also included is a guided tour around the surrounding ruins of the fortress of Saksaywaman, the Tambomachay Inca baths, and the impressive amphitheatre of Kenko.

Day 3
Sacred Valley

After a restful night in your Cusco hotel and a nice breakfast in the morning you'll be ready for a full-day excursion to Peru's well-known Sacred Valley of the Incas. Within the valley are exclusive pre-Inca sites that cannot be compared to any other place.

Such sites include the terraced salt mines, the agricultural circular terraces of Moray, and Ollantaytambo, a fortress built of stunning military architecture. You can also visit the small village of Pisac, where artisans gather to sell their hand-made crafts and goods. After a filling lunch and more sightseeing in the afternoon, you'll return to Cusco for an overnight stay.

 
Day 4
Machu Picchu

Today when you wake up in Cusco, prepare yourself for a spectacular day, because you will be visiting Machu Picchu. You'll get there by departing on an early morning transfer to the train station in Poroy that will take you across the Andes to Aguas Calientes and finally to the base of the mountains.

From here you will be taken on a guided tour of the lost city of Machu Picchu, built for the royals of the Inca empire. When you've tired of exploring, you will eat lunch at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge and Restaurant and proceed to ride the Vistadome train back to the Poroy station, where a transfer will be there for your return to your selected hotel for an overnight stay in Cusco.

Day 5
Cusco

As the morning begins, you'll have another nourishing breakfast before you head to the train station for an amazing ride over Andean terrain on your way to Puno via the Andean Explorer Train. Lunch will be enjoyed on board, and a transfer to your hotel will be awaiting your arrival.

 
Day 6
Puno, Titicaca Lake

In beautiful Puno, breakfast will be waiting for you in the morning before you start your full-day adventure to Uros and the Taquile Islands on Lake Titicaca. Absorb the native community and the rich culture of the Uros who live on floating islands made of interwoven reeds (or “totora”) that is found in the shallow areas of the lake.

As you continue to Taquile you will see how peaceful this community is and just how colorful their traditional dress is, which is all made by hand. Lunch will be provided in Taquile and your return to Puno will be in the afternoon for your nightly stay.

Day 7
Juliaca

Puno / Juliaca / Lima

After filling up on a complete breakfast in the morning, you will be transferred to the Juliaca airport for your returning flight to Lima. Upon arrival you'll be met and then transferred to your hotel of choice.

After a short rest, enjoy a 3-hour sightseeing tour of colonial and modern Lima, with stops by important monuments such as the Government Palace, City Hall, and the popular Cathedral in the Plaza Mayor and 17th Century San Francisco Convent, among other significant places in Lima and views of the Pacific Ocean. Afterwards, you'll be brought back to your hotel to rest for your departure home.

Welcome to the capital of Peru! You'll be picked up at the airport and transferred to your previously selected hotel.

Breakfast will be served at your hotel, and afterwards you will be transferred to the Lima airport for your domestic flight to Cusco. Enjoy a full day of exploring Peru's Inca capital city of Cusco. Since it was once the prevailing city of the Inca, there is rich history and Peruvian culture that lays within this small city. There is a lot to discover here!

Explore the most iconic sites in the city, like the famous Koricancha Temple, commonly known as the Temple of the Sun; visit the Cathedral, with its captivating baroque style paintings and altars crafted by the master hands of Cusquena artists. Discover the ancient history of this city while you discover the ruins of Saksaywaman, Tambomachay (known as the Inca baths), Puca Pucara and Kenko archaeological sites.

Day 3
Sacred Valley

Cusco / Urubamba

You will have breakfast at your hotel, and then you will explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Embark on an extraordinary journey across the Andes, exploring the sacred places of this ancient civilization. First, we will visit Maras with its spectacular salt mines; this was the main source of salt for the Inca empire.

To the west you will find the terraces of Moray, a clever construction of the Incas that helped them to build microclimates and increase the agricultural production of the zone.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant where you can try the delicacies of the Peruvian cuisine. We will continue exploring the north toward Ollantaytambo, where we will visit the remains of an Inca fortress. And we will finish the day at the village of Pisac, where we will get to experience a local market, where artisans from the nearby villages gather to sell their products. We will spend the night at Urubamba Valley.

 
Day 4
Machu Picchu

Today you will be well taken care of as you travel to the train station of Ollantaytambo en route across the Andes to eventually arrive at the foothills of the one of the seven Wonders of the World. On the guided tour, try to catch your breath once you stumble upon the ever-mysterious Machu Picchu.

In the afternoon enjoy a refreshing and filling lunch at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary and restaurant. After lunch, your guide will depart back to Cusco, you will have a free afternoon to explore the town of Aguas Calientes.

We will spend the night at Aguas Calientes.

If you didn't get quite enough exploring done, feel free to take the morning at your leisure; a second entrance to Machu Picchu is included for you to explore at your own pace. In the afternoon, the Vistadome train will take you back to the Poroy Station and upon your arrival you will be transferred back to your hotel, where you will spend the night.

After such an amazing adventure in the Peruvian Andes exploring Machu Picchu and other Inca sites, your tour will come to an end. On this day, you will be transferred to the airport for a local flight to Lima where you can take your international flight.

Upon arrival to the cosmopolitan city of Lima, you will be taken to your hotel. Lima is truly a unique and beautiful city, its colonial style is well blended with its modern spirit, and it is world famous for its cuisine. Lima is without doubt a place worth exploring.

After breakfast, you will be picked up and driven to the airport of Lima, where you will take your local flight to the city of Cusco.

In Cusco you will be picked up by your guide, with whom you will discover the capital of the Inca empire. In the afternoon, you will visit the temple of the sun (in its original language the “Koicancha” temple), then you will visit the Cathedral, where beautiful Cusquena school paintings decorate the baroque style church. Later you will visit the surrounding ruins of Saksaywaman, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the amphitheatre of Kenko.

The night will be spent in Cusco.

Day 3
Sacred Valley

Cusco / Urubamba

In the morning after breakfast, explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas in the largest ancient town of Urubamba. Maras is a salt production center that's been in use since Inca times and has an extraordinary view of the multiple terraces used for mining the salt. A short distance away are other famous terraces – these are the circular terraces of Moray. They were built by the Inca in order to experiment with different micro-climate terraces for agricultural purposes.

Continuing to the north, we will visit Ollantaytambo, another fortress built during the Inca empire. It is an excellent sample of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, we visit the village of Pisac and attend the local agricultural open market, where artisans from all over the area congregate to sell their crafts.

Day 4
Machu Picchu

Urubamba / Machu Picchu / Cusco

After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to the Ollantaytambo train station. As you arriving by Vistadome train, get ready for an epic adventure discovering the lost city of Machu Picchu. This city was actually built as a retreat for the Inca royals looking to escape other Inca cities and more specifically for the Inca ruler Pachacutec.

After touring these well-preserved ruins, enjoy a filling lunch at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge restaurant, with buffet choices of both international and Peruvian selections. After lunch you'll be returning to Cusco by Vistadome train, and then you'll be transferred to your hotel.

You will be arriving in the largest city of Peru: Lima, which also serves as Peru's capital. Here, you can enjoy the sprawling city with a mix of Spanish colonial architecture and pre-Incan touches, as well as a modern flare in the newer parts of the city. Upon your arrival, one of our representatives will pick you up and drive you to your hotel, where you can rest and prepare yourself for the adventure ahead.

Your Peruvian adventure begins in the city of Cusco. Early in the morning, after breakfast, one of our staff members will transfer you to the Lima airport for your domestic flight to Cusco. Once in Cusco, your tour guide will take you around the most iconic buildings of this beautiful city.

The Koricancha Temple, or Temple of the Sun, will impress you with its 15th century walls and floors that once, long ago, boasted pure gold before it was stolen by the Spanish conquistadors. Also included is the chance to witness the incredible designs and architecture of the Inca baths of Tambomachay, the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, and the amphitheatre of Kenko – all places of Inca worship.

Early in the morning, you'll make your way by train to the base of the mountains where Machu Picchu is located – you will be picked up by one of our representatives and transferred to the Poroy train station. As the misty clouds slowly break away as you ascend the slopes, brace yourself for a breathtaking view of the lost Inca city when you reach the top. The Inca had no written language, which is why scholars are still unable to discover the true reason Machu Picchu was built. Discover the greatness of this Incan Ruin and come up with your own theory of how it became one of the greatest and best-known ruins in the world.

After visiting the lost Inca city, we will have lunch at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge Restaurant in the small town of Aguas Calientes; later we will enjoy a leisurely afternoon without a guide in the city of Cusco.

Originally known as the City of Kings, Lima is Peru's ever-growing modern capital city, built on both sides of the Rímac River. The traditional part of the city is a great site to visit if you're hoping to see pre-Inca architecture, churches, and beautifully restored colonial buildings, including the heart of and soul of Lima, the Plaza Mayor, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988.

Upon arrival, one of our representatives will pick you up and drive you to your hotel in Lima.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive you to the airport for your domestic flight to Cusco. Known for the interesting and ancient archaeological remains and still-present Spanish colonial architecture, Cusco is a wonderful place to get lost in history.

Imagine yourself walking back in time to the in Inca epoch during your tour visiting the Temple of the Sun, various cathedrals, and many ruins that represent the Inca culture and ways of life. In the afternoon you will enjoy a city tour that includes the Koricancha Temple and the Cathedral, and later you will visit the archaeological sites of Saksaywaman, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and Kenko.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the Poroy train station, from which you will depart in the Vistadome train in a stunning and magnificent ride across the Andean mountains, with a final destination of the small town of Aguas Calientes. From Aguas Calientes, a short transfer will take you to the entrance of the archeological site of Machu Picchu.

The Inca citadel Machu Picchu is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and probably one of the most impressive sights to ever behold. Before arriving, enjoy the train ride, as you view the countrysides once occupied by the Inca themselves. When you arrive at the foot of the mountains, your guided tour will begin and lead you to the lost Inca city that was discovered as recently as 1911 by Hiram Bingham on an archaeological expedition from Yale University.

In the afternoon you will enjoy the delicious Peruvian palate at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge's restaurant. Then you will return to the Poroy train station from which you will be transferred to your hotel.

3-day: Cusco & Titicaca Lake

Your day begins by departing Cusco on the Inka Express that you will share with other tourists on the way to Puno. You'll see very interesting sites, with time to stop and explore at places such as the Andahuaylillas baroque church, dedicated to St. Peter the Apostle, and the Inca archaeological site of Raqchi, with the remains of the temple of the god Wiracocha.

Additionally, you'll visit the Museum of Pucara, famous for its pottery, ceramics, and other rare objects recovered from the pre-Inca Pucara era. Lunch will be provided en route at a local restaurant.

Once you reach Puno, you'll be taken to your selected hotel for a good night's rest.

 
Day 2
Puno, Titicaca Lake

After a filling breakfast, get ready to discover Uros and the Taquile Islands located on Lake Titicaca. The native Uros community is located on a man-made floating island in the lake. The Uros people live on an island woven by the "totora" reed, which grows abundantly in the shallows of the lake.

From here, we'll continue to Taquile. This community lives in perfect harmony with the environment. "Taquileños" are known for dressing in colorful traditional clothes which are made by hand, and you'll see how they maintain a strong atmosphere of collectivist group mentality.

Lunch will be set in Taquile, and then in the afternoon you will return to Puno, where you will spend the night.
