Camilo Chauca
Captain
Camilo wurde in Guayaquil geboren und lebt derzeit auf San Cristobal. Sein Studium absolvierte er an der ESMENA, der Escuela de la Marina Mercante Nacional. Er ist seit einem Jahr Kapitän der Ocean Spray. Camilo ist für alle Aktivitäten während der Navigation verantwortlich und gewährleistet die Sicherheit aller an Board der Ocean Spray.
Patricio Aguas
Captain's right hand
Patricio, unsere Rechte Hand des Kapitäns, ist Bewohner der Insel San Cristobal. Er arbeitet bereits seit über einem Jahr für Haugan Cruises und absolvierte sein Studium an der National Merchant Marines School (ESMENA).
Fredy Rentería
Second Mate
Fredy, der aus San Cristobal stammt, ist Zweiter Bootsmann auf der Ocean Spray. Er verwaltet und betreut das Schiff und die Pangas. Fredy studierte Buchhaltung und arbeitet nun seit etwas mehr als einem Jahr an Board der Ocean Spray und für Haugan Cruises.
Adrian Cedeño
Chef
Coming from Manabi, Adrian is our Head Chef. He has been working for Haugan Cruises for 5 wonderful years! He has gained experience with food working in Guayaquil at the Union Hotel and has studied in various courses throughout Quito, Guayaquil and Perú.
Juan Rentería
Second Chef
Juan is a native resident of the Galapagos Islands. He is our Second Chef and has 9 months of experience working for the Ocean Spray Catamaran. Before working for Haugan Cruises, he worked on another boat in the Galapagos.
Gibson Salazar
Second Chef
Born and residing in Guayaquil, Gibson began to work in the art of cooking at the very young age of 19. Since then he has worked at hotels in Guayaquil like the Hilton Colon and Hotel Oro Verde. At this time he is finishing his studies at a Culinary Arts school. The Ocean Spray is his first time working aboard a ship and he loves it because he gets to work in the most marvelous location in the world.
Alexandra del Pozo
Cruise Director
Alexandra was born and lives in the city of Guayaquil. She gained her experience in Hotels working in the US in various locations. She has been working in tourism in the Galapagos for four years now in various Hotel administration work and now on the Ocean Spray.
Juan Molina
Sailor/Housekeeping
Born in Guayaquil and now a resident of Galapagos, Juan has worked for three years aboard the Ocean Spray. He's been with us since the beginning of the catamarans construction. His duties include part-time sailor and part-time housekeeping. He has many years of experience working in the Galapagos Islands and tourism.
Glenda Andagana
Bartender/Housekeeping
Glenda is a native of the Galapagos Islands and her position aboard the Ocean Spray is split between bartending and housekeeping. With 16 years of experience working on various tourist boats in the Galapagos, her specialty is preparing exotic cocktails. Glenda has been working Haugan Cruises for one year.
Vicente Rosero
Machine/Motor Engineer
Vicente comes from Ambato, a beautiful Andean region of Ecuador. His is the operator and mechanist for the Ocean Spray. For over 20 years he has worked on different boats in the Galapagos and maintains a perfectly functioning Machine Room.
Rigoberto Palates
Assistant Machine/Motor Engineer
Rigoberto originally comes from the Galapagos and his position is to help maintain the machines and work directly with the head Engineer so that everything on the Ocean Spray is working properly.
Trixi Chauca
Housekeeping
Trixi was born in Guayaquil and lives on San Cristobal Island. She is responsible for the attention and cleaning needed for all cabins. She gained lots of experience working in the United States and has become an expert at the art of folding towels creating beautiful impressions of Galapagos animals. Trixi has worked for 5 years with Haugan Cruises and 1 year aboard the Ocean Spray.
