Kjetil Haugan is the owner of Haugan Cruises. He is a Norwegian citizen who has lived in Ecuador since 1994. Kjetil has a Graduate degree in Organization Development from England and a undergraduate degree in Management from Norway. Kjetil worked as the director of the Olympic Villages during the Lillehammer (Norway) 1994 and the Atlanta (USA) 1996 Olympic Games. He speaks Spanish, English and the Scandinavian languages.

Jim is British and works with the team in Quito to make sure all those things behind the scenes operate smoothly so that your experience in Galapagos is a memorable one. Jim has extensive international business experience through his prior employments with General Motors and Ernst & Young.

Jessica holds a degree as an Engineer of Tourist Business Administration and in Management of Protected Areas; she currently manages Haugan Cruises Home Sales Department. Jessica has worked in the tourism industry since 1996 and at Haugan Cruises' since 2001. She is also in charge of the Palmazul Artisan Designed Hotel & Spa, which is part of the Columbus Group.

Isabel Studied International Business at the Pontifical Catholic University in Quito. She has lived in Germany, and studied at a French School; she and speaks English, French, German and Spanish. She has been in the Tourism Industry for more than ten years. She is in charge of the Sales Department at Haugan Cruises and will be happy to assist you with availability, rates, or other concerns regarding our Nina and Athala cruisers.

Lorena has a degree as a National Tourism Guide. She has worked in different departments of tourism for 4 years and has been working for Haugan Cruises for 3 months helping with the reservations and sales of NINA & ATHALA.

Bertha has a degree in Ecotourism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Quito. She has worked in Tourism for nearly six years in a variety of different departments including Sales, Reservations and Operations. Bertha is currently in charge of reservations for our Nina & Athala catamarans; furthermore, she coordinates with our Galapagos Operations Department to ensure that all of our guests will have a pleasant cruise.

Daniela studied Tourist Administration and has worked in the tourist industry for nearly twelve years. She has extensive experience arranging tours throughout Ecuador. She speaks English, Spanish and Italian.

Washington is the person who actually purchases tickets and ensures that all the proper documents are in order.

Paulina graduated from the Central University of Ecuador with a degree in Ecotourism. She works in the operations department, and is in charge of land operations and respective arrangements.

Edwin is a Tourism & Hotelier Specialist. He has had the good fortune to have lived and worked in the Galapagos Islands. Through Haugan Cruises, Edwin's goal is to showcase the Galapagos to all every guest with precision and pride. He consistently delivers on the promise to ensure that your experience in Galapagos is truly extraordinary.

Lenin studies at the University of Tourism Specialties and is currently developing a community project in order to obtain his degree as an Engineer of Tourism Administration. He has been working for Haugan Cruises for eight months as an Operations Assistant. He is in charge of getting the Galapagos National Institute, INGALA, cards for both crew and passengers; he also works with cruise logistics and itinerary review.

Mauricio studied tourism at the Central University of Ecuador. He has been working with Haugan Cruises for two and a half years and is in charge of all aspects of flight reservations and e-ticket issuance.

Javier is responsible for the Hotel Division's service and quality control onboard. He has been involved with the Hotel industry for eighteen years and working with the Galapagos Islands for nine. Since mid- 2009, Javier has been working at Haugan Cruises, a company young in spirit and solid in professionalism. Haugan Cruises is forever committed to making certain that our visitors get the best possible experience in the Galapagos Islands.

Washington graduated from high school in the United States and majored in Business Management and International Relations at San Francisco University in Quito. He has lived in the Galapagos Islands for short periods, and has extensively traveled around Ecuador's four regions. He has been involved in the tourism industry for eight years, through doing marketing and sales for cruise lines and yacht companies.

Maria Belen has been working for Haugan Cruises for two years. She earned her degree in Tourist Administration at the University of Tourism Specialties. She has worked for the sales and operation departments, but currently works on coordinating the activities of the Marketing Team. She speaks English.

Jorge, studied Computer Engineering, at the ESPE University, he is in charge of information technology and ensures the smooth functioning of our computer systems. He also works to update and revise our web pages in order to provide our customers the best information available. He speaks a fluent english, and some french, and will always be willing, and glad to help you with your technical needs.

Francisco studied Design at Israel University in Quito for five years; he is skilled in the areas of graphic design, web design, photography, video production/editing and business communication management. He works at Haugan Cruises in web development. He has a Certificate in Advanced English and an Italian Certification

Christina is Canadian and has been living in Ecuador since 2004. Chris works as our Galapagos Islands correspondent, diver, photographer and reporter. She studied Fine Arts and Education in Montreal, and has been traveling the world ever since. She joined our team in June of 2010.

Andres holds a degree in Computer Engineering, which he obtained in Toronto, Canada. He is in charge of managing the websites. He speaks English and Spanish fluently.

Juan is in charge of the working with the corporate image, web design and advertising for company. He has a graduate degree in Communication and Advertising from the University of the Americas, and has also completed course studies in New Technologies of Communication at Andina University in Quito. He speaks English.

Gabriela majored in Tourism Administration and Natural Area Conservation at Equinox Technology University. She currently works as a Marketing Assistant, and is in charge of researching, creating, and publishing the best promotions available, so that you get the best deal in your Galapagos Adventure.

Rene studied Graphic Design at the Metropolitan University and has extensive knowledge of multimedia, programming and web development. He currently works in the marketing department in charge of corporate image and advertising. He joined our team in June 2010.

Lauren is a student at Bristol University (England) studying a BA in Spanish and Russian. She began interning for the Marketing Department in August. Her activities include conducting market research, checking and translating information for the website, writing articles and contacting clients in the UK. She is also taking over the responsibility of running English lessons for employees.

With a degree in Business Administration and a specialization in Human Resources, Josseth is responsible for the efficient administration and management of the Human Resources Division. Specifically, she ensures the application of the proper standards to ensure the correct development of the company and utilizes optimal methods for obtaining the best personnel available.

Juan Pablo works with the Operation department.

Diego has been working for Haugan Cruises since June 2010, he is studying Mechanical Engineering. He is our Handy Man, and helps in the Galapagos Operation Department, taking care of purchases, and also helps with the Installations and maintenance of computers. With a big smile, he is always ready and willing to help.

Belén has worked for Haugan Cruises since March 2010 as a receptionist. She in charge of the telephone exchange system and is also responsible for greeting and providing information to visitors. She is studying Business Administration at Salesiana University.

Miguel is our "mensajero", who is in charge of purchasing, and delivering the tickets, and Ingalas, so you on't have to worry for any of these, and enjoy a marvelous trip..

Mary has been working for Galapagos Islands, since january 2010. She is in charge of the daily morning snack, and keeping our offices clean and shining.

Lucia is the accounting manager at Haugan Cruises. She has twelve years of experience in tourism, and studied Accounting and Auditing at Equinox University of Technology in Quito.

Ximena works in the Accounting Department of Haugan Cruises; she is in charge reservation payments and billing. Previously, has worked in similar positions with other companies. She just finished her university studies.

Ruben has studied Accounting and manages payroll here at Haugan Cruises.

Gabriela Erazo has worked in the Accounting department of Haugan Cruises since November 2009 and is in charge of inputting all the tour costs into our booking system. Gaby is currently in her seventh semester studying Business Administration at UCT University in Quito, Ecuador.

Mayra works in as a department assistant for the finance team. She has studied at the Central University of Ecuador, and she specializes in Accounting and Auditing.

Janneth works as an accounting assistant and is responsible for ensuring that all the payments to hotels and restaurants are up to date so that passengers experience seamless admissions. She has worked for Haugan Cruises since the beginning of the year.

Denisse has worked for Haugan Cruises for one year. Her main responsibility is to coordinate outgoing payments. She is currently studying Marketing Technology, and works in the Accounting Department.

Cleo is studying in her 8th semester of accounting. She has worked with us for 4 months as an accounting assistant in charge of registering the company's income and expenditure, the vice-president's tax declarations and bank reconciliations.
